Authorities are investigating a scene as a homicide after they were called to the Timbergrove Gardens community and found someone shot to death inside a home on Friday morning.
Houston police told reporters they were called at 8:30 a.m. to the 1700 block of West T.C. Jester for a welfare check after a neighbor noticed a car running in the garage for a while with no one around. That’s when a person who had been shot to death was found inside the home.
Officers say that the man was found with multiple gunshots wounds.
Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident.
“We do believe this is an isolated incident, but it’s important at this point not to release any other facts to not jeopardize the integrity of this investigation,” a detective said.
Throughout the day, investigators came in and out of the residence, collecting evidence.
Investigators say this is still an ongoing investigation and it is too early to determine any suspects.
