Icy road conditions are still causing problems for some drivers across Houston on Tuesday.
Freezing rain, sleet, and some snow fell across southeast Texas on Monday. Meanwhile, temperatures have stayed below freezing, so some roadways, especially bridges and overpasses, still have some icy spots.

The Houston Police Department said its officers have worked more than 580 crashes since midnight, and more than 100 of those were ice-related. None of the 100+ ice-related crashes were fatal.
There are also multiple traffic lights out across the city. Houston Public Works said it has received over 400 calls to 311 about traffic lights being out.
TxDOT crews worked overnight, trying to make the roadways safer for drivers.
Reporters went to check out some of the freeway stretches that caused problems on Monday. While many areas are looking dry and clear, there are still shiny, slick spots on overpasses and bridges.
TxDOT crews treated the roadways with a brine mixture to help melt the ice.

According to drivetexas.org, a few freeway stretches in the Houston area are still affected by ice.
The northbound and southbound lanes of I-69 have been reopened in Fort Bend County.
The southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 59 through Sugar Land are being reopened. The freeway is now safe for travel in both directions. Public Works crews have inspected the roadway, and it is clear of dangerous ice in both directions. pic.twitter.com/42eWY4AGFb

Fort Bend County officials said overpasses on West Park, Grand Parkway, and Fort Bend Parkway were closed.
