Five French bulldog puppies were taken during a home invasion in the Jersey Village area, according to police.

On Monday, Nov. 28, Jersey Village police officers responded to a burglary in progress call in the 8600 block of Jones Road at the Trails at Corinthian Creek Apartments.

The caller, who police said was a juvenile hiding in the apartment at the time, told police that two suspects kicked in the front door to get inside.

Video shared by the owner shows the suspects going into the apartment and taking off with five puppies. The puppies were only five weeks old, police said.

Once on scene, officers found the juvenile in a bedroom and unharmed.

Surveillance video of the scene also showed the suspects, who had their faces covered and were wearing hooded sweatshirts. The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a black Dodge Charger, which was said to have dark-tinted windows, black rims, and a fake license plate.

The Jersey Village Police Department is urging anyone with information on this case to call 713-466-2115 or contact Detective Taylor.
