Authorities have arrested a man who they say fled the scene of a crash that injured a 2-year-old boy in north Harris County.
Thursday at about 8:27 p.m., the Harris County Constable Precinct 4’s Office tweeted about heavy police presence in the 14600 block of Ella Boulevard. They added that a 2-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after he was hit by a vehicle in a crash.

No major injuries were reported, according to Pct. 4.
In a 9:47 p.m. update, the constable’s office shared that a driver was in custody in connection with the crash and was charged with failure to stop and render aid.

It’s unclear what led to the crash, but an investigation is still ongoing.
