Officials said a woman is in stable condition after being shot several times in northwest Harris County on Saturday evening.
The shooting happened in an apartment complex in the 9100 block of Mills Road in northwest Harris County shortly after 6 p.m.

Officials said that deputies found the woman, who is said to be in her 50s, shot in the upper and lower part of her body.
Investigators learned a vehicle drove through the alleyway of the complex and fired “at least five or six” shots toward the shared garages.
From there, investigators said that bullets came through a wall and hit the woman while she was sitting in her living room.
She was then taken to the hospital by medical personnel, officials said.
Investigators said they are looking into cameras at the complex to find the vehicle involved.
There is no known motive as to why the shooting occurred, investigators said.
