A decomposing body was found in a field in southeast Houston on Friday, according to police.
Houston police said officers responded to a person down call in the 4600 block of Branch Street near Cullen Boulevard at 10:30 a.m.
HPD homicide detectives are responding to a scene of a person, believed to be a male, found deceased in a field about 10:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of Branch Street near Cullen Blvd.
The person's body is in a state of decomposition. No other info known at this time.#HouNews

Construction workers clearing the lot in a wooded area found the man’s body with his ankles bound, and called police.
News helicopters flew over the scene, where police were seen investigating a vehicle parked behind some trees in the middle of the field. At this time, there are no known witnesses.
The police investigation is ongoing. An autopsy will be performed to determine how the man died.
